Welcome to our forums. Please or Problem with CK3100 car kit, no signal Posted: 11:56 01 Sep 09 #1. 4 Posts. Join Date: 1 September 2009 Hi, I have been using a CK3100 in my astra for about 2 years with no problems connecting both mine and my wifes phones. Yesterday after disconnecting my phone the screen seemed to be stuck on the 'goodbye' message. When getting in the car about 30 minutes later the message was still displayed on the screen. I held in the the red, green and function buttons and this seemed to get rid of the message but unfortunately i'm unable to do anything with it now.
I have now noticed that it displays the message 'no signal' and i'm still unable to get into any menus or do anything with the car kit. Any body else had this problem and got a resolution, any help would be greatly appericiated.

Press 'Green', 'Red' and 'Knob' at same time and hold for a couple of seconds. Display should go blank (lighting remains on). Now Press all 3 Buttons again.

I have tried it to no avail, when I press all three butons the screen goes from blank to the message 'no signal' and back again, I have tried holding in the buttons for various lenghts of time 3 - 5 seconds but still no joy. After getting out of the car and I have noticed that the car kit display has remained lighted up and still is. Could any of the connections have come loose? The car kit was installed by a professional auto electrician at motorpoint where I purchased the car.

Join Date: 1 September 2009 This is a copy of a reply received from parrot uk, I hope this helps anybody else with a similar problem with there ck3100 carkit. The first option of powering down the unit worked for me Thank you for your enquiry at Parrot UK.
Your situation is most unfortunate ‘No Signal’ can be a result of an electrical or Bluetooth spike on the kit, normally from jump starting the vehicle, incorrect installation or using an incompatible phone with the kit. Sometimes this can be resolved by powering down the CK3100 Blue control box that is behind the dash for five minutes or by re-writing the software to the unit by cable. To re-write the software you will need a specific Parrot Software update cable and a PC (preferably a laptop) running Windows XP/Vista and our Parrot update tool software A serial cable can be purchased from one of our distribution companies, Chameleon, they can be contacted on 01206 500 848. Join Date: 7 March 2014 hi, i have exactly the same problem, my car needed a jump start and now the parrot doesn't work, just says no signal and the light comes on and off even when the engine is off.
How do I power it down? This was already fitted and working when I bought the car last year so I don't even know how it was fitted. If anyone can 'talk me through it' I'd greatly appreciate the help, thanks.

If you follow the wires from the display box on the dash and once you have located it unplug the power wire for 5 mins or so then reconnect it and hopefully it should all be fine.
